Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how and when we dispatch and deliver orders placed with Jot Junkies. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only. This includes England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We do not currently offer international shipping. If you have a specific enquiry about delivery to a location not covered, please contact us at legal at jotjunkies.com before placing your order.

2. Order Processing Time

Most of our products are made to order, which means production begins after your order is placed and payment is confirmed. Our standard order processing time is:

  • Standard processing: 5 to 10 business days

  • During busy periods (including peak seasons, promotions, or high demand): an additional 3 to 5 business days may be required

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Processing time is separate from shipping time and begins from the date your order is confirmed, not the date of dispatch.

3. Shipping Times

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Standard shipping: 2 to 3 business days from dispatch

  • Express shipping: 1 to 2 business days from dispatch

Please note that these are estimated timeframes provided by our shipping carriers and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Jot Junkies is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, adverse weather, or other factors outside our control.

4. Dispatch Notification

You will receive a dispatch notification by email once your order has been shipped. Where available, tracking information will be included in this email. It is your responsibility to ensure your delivery address is entered correctly at checkout. We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched.

5. Busy & Peak Periods

During periods of high demand (for example, around key gifting seasons, limited edition releases, or following promotional campaigns), both processing and shipping timescales may be longer than usual. We will endeavour to communicate any known delays on our website or via email. We appreciate your patience during these times.

6. Missed or Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will typically leave a notification and attempt redelivery or hold the parcel at a local depot. It is your responsibility to arrange redelivery or collection within the carrier's specified timeframe. Jot Junkies is not liable for parcels that are returned to us due to failed delivery as a result of an incorrect address or failure to collect. In such cases, re-postage fees may apply.

7. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order has not arrived within 10 business days of your dispatch notification, or if your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us at legal at jotjunkies.com with your order number and details of the issue. We will liaise with the carrier to investigate and will work towards a resolution as swiftly as possible. Claims for lost parcels must be raised within 28 days of the dispatch date.

8. Force Majeure

Delivery timescales may be significantly affected by circumstances beyond our or our carriers' control. These include but are not limited to:

  • Extreme weather events

  • Industrial action by postal or courier services

  • National or regional emergencies

  • Geopolitical events affecting transportation networks or import/export infrastructure

In such circumstances, we will do our best to keep you informed and will work with you to find a suitable resolution. However, we cannot accept liability for delays caused by force majeure events.

9. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order, your selected shipping method, and your delivery address. All applicable shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you confirm your order.

10. Governing Law

This Shipping Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
