Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Jot Junkies. By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. General Information

2. Acceptance of Terms

By browsing our website, placing an order, or otherwise engaging with our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and that you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be published on our website.

3. Products

3.1 Made to Order

The majority of our products are made to order. This means production only begins after your order is placed and payment is confirmed. Some made-to-order products allow you to select options such as colour, meaning they are produced to your specification. Others, such as standard notepads, are made to order but without customer-specific customisation. The category your product falls into affects your cancellation and refund rights (see Sections 7 and 8).

3.2 Accessories & Stock Items

Certain accessories and one-off items are sold subject to available stock. Stock availability is not guaranteed and may change without notice. In the unlikely event that a stock item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly with options including a full refund.

3.3 Product Descriptions

We take care to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However, slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur due to the handmade or custom nature of our products, or due to differences in screen display settings. Such variations do not constitute a fault or grounds for a refund.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order. We accept payment through the methods available at checkout. We do not store your full payment card details.

5. Order Processing

Once your order is placed and payment confirmed, we aim to begin processing within 1 business day. Our standard processing time is 5 to 10 business days. During peak periods (including but not limited to seasonal events, promotional sales, or high demand), processing times may extend by a further 3 to 5 business days. We will endeavour to communicate any significant delays.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Please refer to our separate Shipping Policy for full details. In summary:

  • Standard shipping: 2 to 3 business days after dispatch

  • Express shipping: 1 to 2 business days after dispatch

  • We currently ship to UK addresses only

  • Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control

7. Cancellations

As most products are made to order, we are unable to accept cancellations once production has commenced. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us at legal at jotjunkies.com as soon as possible after placing it. We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests made before production begins, but this cannot be guaranteed. Where production has already started, cancellation may not be possible, and charges may apply.

8. Refunds & Returns

Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges on made-to-order products unless the item is faulty or not as described

  • To initiate a return or refund claim for a faulty item, please contact: refunds at jotjunkies.com

  • Faulty items must be reported within 14 days of receipt

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including but not limited to product designs, images, text, graphics, logos, and branding, is the intellectual property of Jot Junkies or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our content without express written permission. You may share links to our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Jot Junkies shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or products

  • Loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or any other economic loss

  • Delays or failures in delivery caused by third-party carriers, customs, or other external factors

  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in website content, provided we act in good faith to correct them

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Third Parties

We may engage third-party service providers to assist with fulfilment, payment processing, shipping, and website functionality. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, errors, or omissions of third-party service providers, though we take reasonable care in their selection.

Links to third-party websites on our site are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites.

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Acts of God, including floods, earthquakes, storms, and other natural disasters

  • War, armed conflict, military operations, terrorism, or civil unrest (including geopolitical events affecting global supply chains and materials)

  • Government actions, sanctions, trade restrictions, embargoes, or regulatory changes

  • Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies

  • Industrial disputes, strikes, or labour shortages

  • Disruptions to supply chains, raw material shortages, or component unavailability caused by global events

  • Failures or disruptions to energy, telecommunications, or postal infrastructure

  • Cyber attacks or technical failures beyond our control

In the event of a force majeure, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will use reasonable efforts to minimise the impact on your order. Where fulfilment becomes impossible or indefinitely delayed due to force majeure, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund of any amount paid. We will not be obligated to provide compensation beyond this refund.

13. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under English law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and any other applicable legislation. Where a made-to-order product is produced to your specification (for example, where you have selected a colour or other customisation option), your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations may not apply, as such goods are exempt. Where a made-to-order product does not involve customer-specific customisation (for example, standard notepads produced in response to demand), your standard 14-day right to cancel may apply. In such cases, you must notify us within 14 days of receipt and return the item unused and in its original condition at your own cost. 14. Data Protection & Privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. By placing an order, you consent to the processing of your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy. We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where necessary to fulfil your order or as required by law.

15. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not use our website to transmit unsolicited communications, introduce malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the website at any time without notice if we believe you are in breach of these Terms.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer based in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may have additional rights under local law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jot Junkies in relation to your use of our website and purchase of our products. They supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements.
